It is reported that, over the past year, in the southwest Virginia city of Martinsville, an attempt was made to remove the elected black mayor, LC Jones. The reports showed that the attempted coup began after the city’s last election, when a group of white candidates lost their bid for council seats.
The leaders of the coup were councilman Aaron Rawls, the grand dragon, and demon Julian Mei. They attempted to fabricate lies about the mayor’s corruption. To assist in their evil plot, they called on their witch, Patti Covington, to prepare an evil potion with another selected group of white followers.
The attempted coup went through the court system, and eventually the plot was thrown out. Judge dismisses case to remove Martinsville mayor from office.
